Still hazy on what is knuuz sharing!? The core knuuz sharing process is capturing snippets of your life that you think might be useful to yourself or others at some point in the future. In order to get back to those snippets you create a digital reference book that points to either the snippet itself (e.g. a photo, screenshot, or journal entry) or it points to where a more complete description of the knuuz item exists. The latter is often a folder with one or more files in it which may exist on one or more of your digital devices or it may exist at some other location accessible via the internet. Knuuz4u.org exists to help provide a stable starter kit for those individuals interested in sharing their knuuz with themselves and others. 

A knuuz collection typically evolves over time. That evolution often necessitates one or more changes in the shared material's location. For example, an early version of a knuuz item may be nothing more than a few random images and notes on someone's digital device. Over time the material gets refined. At some point the knuuz author shares a draft with others to get feedback. After a few iterations it may get shared more widely for people to gain benefit from just by using the material. As understanding of the topic and the shared material grows refinements to the shared material will almost certainly happen. Ideally users of the shared knuuz will continue to have access to the latest version without needing to do anything particularly special or non-obvious. The web address they have been using gets automatically redirect to a different location.

This is where Knuuz4u comes in. In order then to share your knowledge with others without concern for where you put the material it is essential that the links you share are decoupled from the actual locations in some manner.  That is the concept that has been applied with the knuuz4u.org web links. It is called link forwarding and is quite common. Anyone who has used a url shortener service (e.g. https://tinyurl.com) has already experienced following automatically redirected links.

You see there is no actual website called http://knuuz4u.org. Rather any browser that points to one of those links gets redirected to the actual internet location that the knuuzmaster (i.e. someone who shares their knuuz with others) wants them to see. At the time of this writing the page you are reading is actually on the https://knuuzworld.org website. The link http://knuuz4u.org was automatially redirected here. If in the future the location of this page needs to move, that will be done and then the redirect location at knuuw4u.org will be changed to point to the new location. Other than readers possibly seeing a page with a different layout their links will still operate as the knuuz author intended.

By doing this automatic redirection if at some point in the future it is necessary to move the actual material, all those people reading the material do not need to make any change to their documentation. That is handled once by the knuuzmaster and they are automatically taken to the most current collection

In the future it is hoped that this could be a service provided to all these world contributors so that they could use this set of links. for the time being, there will be only a limited set that are maintained by the KnuuzWorld staff. Others can do similarly using a URL shortener website such as tinyurl.com.
